One of the highlights was the Mayor‘s announcement of employment for our kailyans abroad. There’s a big U.S. project in Guam and they will be needing all sorts of handy men, over 300 thousand and the pay is excellent. He also announced a new and modern marketplace, construction will start this month.
If you haven’t been home in the past few years you‘ll notice in the pictures, the faces of Sta Cruz has changed quite a bit. There are still familiar faces but the growth of our younger generation are sprouting like Jack on the beanstalk with Jill not far behind.
